5th and 6th Class November Activities
November was another busy month at Naul NS! Well done to all the students in 5th and 6th Class during the week of our visit for the WSE. They all showed how amazing they are and were able to demonstrate all the hard work and learning they do on a daily basis. Teacher is very proud of each and every student.
In maths, the boys and girls focused on length, getting to engage in some fun and practical activities to explore measuring and measurements. As part of wellbeing, the students had a great fun with Andrea through 'Relax Kids', concluding their lessons with really useful activities to develop skills in building self-confidence and self-regulation. In Gaeilge, we focused on developing the ability to create sentences in writing. The boys and girls engaged in activities to help them write recounts. We will continue this going forward and it was great for the boys and girls to see the links between recount writing in Irish and English. In Science and Geography, the class learned lots about the Irish coast. Integrating this with our English learning of alliteration in reading and writing, the boys and girls collaborated on a wonderful piece of work about the Irish coast, which is now displayed in our classroom.
