The boys and girls in 5th and 6th Class have been enjoying art over the past couple of weeks. The classes have been focusing on constructing buildings and landmarks inspired by our learning about buildings, ruins and sites in the locality. Some of the projects have been inspired by or replicate world landmarks. The materials and resources being used are recycled materials brought in from home and donated kindly by staff - thank you to all who contributed!
Our young engineers are using problem-solving, collaboration and creative skills to a high standard! Some projects might even require planning permission thanks to our ambitious architects!
The classes will take a break next week to focus on some seasonal Hallowe'en art. We will resume construction the week we return to school and the students will present their projects to each other the following week.
