5th and 6th Class have been learning about horticulture through the Incredible Edibles programme. The boys and girls have enjoyed the planting process so far, having planted various vegetable seeds (turnip, beet, lettuce, beans, radish) they are now watering and observing their plant pots in the hope that they will germinate. Some vegetables have already started turning into seedlings! The class have started creating diagrams and explanatory posters about photosynthesis, ideal soil conditions and the planting process. Hopefully we will eventually see some edible outcomes!
