✨ Science Week Fun in 3rd Class! 🔬🧪
We started the week off with a Curious Minds seminar, where we explored how scientists think, ask questions, and make discoveries. The children shared brilliant ideas and really embraced the magic of science.
During the week, we carried out a range of hands-on investigations, including the classic Coca-Cola and Diet Coke with Mentos eruption, always a favourite! There was huge excitement as we predicted, observed, and compared the reactions.
We also explored sound and vibration using our cups-and-string telephones, testing how sound travels and how distance affects what we can hear. The pupils worked wonderfully in pairs and enjoyed experimenting with different setups.
To keep ourselves warm during the freezing weather, we even joined the whole school to do the Macarena, filling the yard with energy, laughter, and lots of dancing.
It has been a fantastic week filled with curiosity, teamwork, and plenty of wow moments. Here’s to even more exploring! 🌟🔍
