It was a fun and busy Seachtain na Gaeilge at Naul NS! The 5th and 6th Class students made an extra effort to use their focail Gaeilge gach lá and have even been using some extra words since! The class participated in a tráth na gceist and created comic strips to illustrate the life of Naomh Pádraig in the run up to St. Patrick's Day. The boys and girls participated in 'PE le Spraoi' and some of the girls volunteered to help all the other classes for the rest of the day, using their Irish instructions to guide the younger boys and girls through the different PE stations. The class learned the amhráiní 'Tír na nÓg' and Coláiste Lurgan's version of 'Old Town Road', a student-chosen song which was performed brilliantly for the whole school assembly at the end of the week.
